01 / Arctic Digital Nomads · 2027

Hello, I’m Carlos.

A little about me, what I’m working on,
and why I’d love to join.

Introduction video coming soon

A short introduction, in my own words.

Thanks for taking a moment to get to know me.

Arctic Digital Nomads · 2027

A little
about me.

Colombian roots. A life across cultures.
And a curiosity that keeps me moving.

I’m a software engineer based in Dubai. I build technology, enjoy bringing people together, and would love to spend a few months working, sharing and making new connections in the Arctic.

02 / My story

A little background.

I am a Colombian-born Senior Software Engineer at Revolut, based in Dubai. Over my 15-year career, I’ve led tech teams across Europe, the Middle East and the Americas and founded my own AI platforms.

Having lived in Colombia, the US, Italy, Spain, France, Switzerland and the UAE, I love cultural exchange. Beyond engineering, I’m passionate about community education and have taken part in different volunteer projects.

I enjoy bringing people together, sharing what I know and learning from others. That’s a big part of what draws me to Arctic Digital Nomads, alongside the calm, nature and opportunity to experience life at a different pace.

What excites me most is the exchange: contributing what I know while learning from others.

03 / During my stay

How I’d like
to contribute.

I’d love to apply my engineering experience to something useful during my stay. Alongside workshops and technical help, I’m happy to lend a hand with local projects and share my experience online.

Share practical AI skills

I’d enjoy hosting an approachable workshop on everyday AI tools: useful ways to save time, organise information and handle routine tasks. We could shape it around what people would find helpful.

Build something useful

I could help improve a website, simplify customer enquiries or streamline a repetitive digital task. I’m also happy to support the programme’s own tools, choosing a manageable project with the hosts.

Join in and lend a hand

I’m happy to volunteer in local projects, take part in community activities and share stories from the stay. I’d like the exchange to go both ways: sharing my experience and learning from others.

04 / What I’ll be working on

My day job.
My own ideas.

I’ll bring my work with me and keep building the projects I care about.

My remote work01

I’ll continue working remotely on backend reliability, performance and an AI trading assistant. My work focuses on making complex systems dependable and efficient.

A personal project02

Voreal

AI for customer conversations

I’m building Voreal to help businesses respond to comments and messages using their own verified business information. It brings practical AI into everyday customer communication.

Perch

A clearer way to choose a home

Perch helps people compare housing options using information gathered from listings and other sources. I’m working on making scattered information easier to understand and decisions easier to make.
